My VR challenge has just started! + writing design blog on here... VR茶室をUnreal Engineで作りたい① (EG/JP)

It's been almost a month since 2022 has begun... As always, I have made up a couple of goals for this year. One of them that I should mention here is perhaps about the exploration for the field of virtual reality. Yesterday (02/02/2022), I have installed UE4 (also Xcode for me as a Mac user) and just started touching them.
2022年になってから一ヶ月経ちました。新年の目標として今年私が掲げた目標の一つにVR作品を作ってみたい、ということがあります。昨日、UEをインストールして(MacなのでX codeもね)ちょっと触ってみました。

I've just gone through some tutorials (burned an actor on the floor and confused with skeleton characters). But like yeah, Rome wasn't built in a day. What I would like to realise this year is hosting a VR chakai: Japanese tea ceremony in the VR that I would've created with UE. Hopefully, an aesthetically pleasurable one that cannot exist in the real world. On the second day of my UE4, I created a tatami-sized plate. (1909 x 955 x 60).
いくつかチュートリアルをやった(床に火を灯したり骸骨の動かし方に困惑したり)のですが、一筋縄ではいかないですね。今年中にはVR茶会を開きたいのですが(間に合う?)。現実では実現できないような素敵なお茶室を作ってみたい。今日は京畳サイズ (1909 x 955 x 60) のプレートをとりあえず一枚つくりました。

Okay, this is an easy one but a bit different to Rhinoceros... I'd like to make a tatami made floor and move around some tatami mats around the room, floating on the space. I will figure out how to do that and try that soon!
いつも使うライノと違うから一つひとつに困惑してしまう。畳の床を作って、その周りを畳が浮かんでふわふわ移動している感じにしたいのです。またやり方を調べて試してみよう。
